When should we book our entertainment?

For weddings, six to twelve months in advance is a good starting point. Saturday dates and popular seasons often book twelve to eighteen months ahead. Corporate events and private celebrations may require less lead time, but availability is always first come, first served. Your date is officially reserved once your agreement is signed and the initial payment is made.
How much does it cost to book Avella Productions?

For weddings, most couples invest between $2,500 and $5,000, depending on the coverage, production, and enhancements included. Corporate events and private celebrations are customized based on the needs of the event. Once we learn more about what you're planning, we'll recommend the right services and provide a proposal with clear pricing.
Will our DJ also serve as the MC?

Yes. Your DJ will guide the event, make announcements, introduce important moments, and help maintain the flow of the celebration. Our MC style is confident and engaging without making the event about us. We keep guests informed, maintain the energy, and know when to step back and let the moment speak for itself.
Do your DJs actually mix the music live?

Yes. Our DJs mix live, blending songs together so the music keeps moving and the energy never drops awkwardly between tracks. It's the same technical approach you would hear at a high-energy club or concert, adapted to fit your event, your guests, and each part of the experience.
Will you only play the music we provide?

No. Your selections give us the foundation for the night, but you don't have to build the entire playlist. We combine your favorite songs, your must-plays, and your overall vision with our experience reading the room. The result feels personal without putting the responsibility of programming the entire event on you.
What if we aren't sure which songs to request?

That's completely fine. Some clients arrive with a detailed list, while others simply share the kind of atmosphere they want and trust us to take it from there. We'll help you make the important selections during the planning process, then read the room and adjust throughout the event.
What does the planning process look like?

Once you're booked, you'll receive access to our planning app, where you can organize your event details, timeline, music selections, and important moments. Before the event, we'll meet for a final planning session to review everything together. Behind the scenes, our team also coordinates with your planner, venue, and other key vendors so everyone is working from the same plan.
How is our DJ selected?

We'll learn about your event, your guests, and the type of experience you want before matching you with the right member of our team. Every Avella DJ is trained through the same process and works from the same standards, systems, and approach to preparation. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with your DJ before the event.
